Meet Mahua Moitra – a Member of Parliament or MP, Lok Sabha from Krishnanagar. She is of course an Indian Politician and also an Investment Banker. For the past one month, beginning of October 2023, Mahua Moitra has been trending in India for all the wrong reasons that Indian tax payers would certainly her for.

 

You agree or not, this is the sad reality of every country because politics comes with corruption. To Indian politicians, joining the Parliament or becoming an MP is primarily encouraged by a solid means of income and that too, an income in crores. Mahua Moitra is an example of this.

 

 

Mahua Moitra gets driven in a 2 CRORES Mercedes G Wagon

 

 

 

 

Column of India or any other news agency as such have no clarity if this Mercedes G Wagon that costs Rs. 2 Crores in which Mahua Moitra is often seen arriving into the Parliament, is owned by Mahua Moitra herself or not. But here’s an interesting part, in the image above, apart from her Mercedes G Wagon, she is also holding a new Louiss Vuitton bag Pochette that costs a whopping Rs. 2,26,000 in India. Not to forget, that she has more LV bags in her luxury treasury that again costs in lakhs.

Accusations against Mahua Moitra

 

Mr. Hiranandani, a prominent real estate developer and businessman claims that he paid her to ask questions in the Lok Sabha against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and link him in a scam with real estate businessman Mr. Adani. He also claimed that Mahua shared the login details and password of her Parliament portal with Mr. Hiranandani, so that he could himself write down the questions he wants her to ask in the Parliament. This is shocking and unacceptable. If this is how a Member of Indian Parliament does, how do we rely upon the people we voted for safety and security of the information of the Indian Parliament?

 

 

Parliament Ethics Panel recommends to Expel Mahua Moitra from Lok Sabha

 

Cash for Query allegations against Mahua examined by Parliament Ethics Committee has recommended to immediately expel Mahua as a Lok Sabha MP and has called her actions as “heinous, criminal, highly objectionable and unethical”.

 

 

Panel Conclusion

 

In a 500 page report, the Ethics Committee has concluded that Mahua DID share her user ID with outsiders, took bribe and availed other luxury amenities from businessman Darshan Hiranandani. The committee also revealed that there is a money trail in between the bank accounts of Mahua Moitra and Darshan Hiranandani.

 

It seems the report of the Ethics Committee will be presented to the Lok Sabha Speaker in the winter session of the Parliament for a decision to be taken on her being removed and expelled as the MP.

 

Dear Mahua, the people of India elected you to build a better India for them but you are on a spree to build a better bank balance for yourself and that too, with unethical means while putting the security of India at risk. It will be great if you could at least now, focus on changing the lives of the people of Krishnagar, West Bengal.
