General Hospital actor Killed – Johnny Wactor has died
Los Angeles: Actor Johnny Wactor, recognized for his role in General Hospital, was fatally shot early Saturday morning in Los Angeles. At approximately 3:30 am, the 37-year-old and a colleague were at the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street when they noticed three masked individuals attempting to steal a catalytic converter from his vehicle in downtown LA.
According to statements from Mr. Wactor's mother and police, the actor approached the thieves. Despite not resisting, he was shot by one of the suspects, who then fled the scene in a car, TMZ reported.
The actor was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, a police source said.
