Air India’s New Uniform for Crew designed by Manish Malhotra Launched

Air India’s New Uniform for Pilot and Crew members is unveiled. The uniform is designed by famous Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra. The colours used for Air India’s new uniform are red, maroon, purple and black.

The female cabin crew will dress up in an ombre saree that will come pre-stitched while the male crew will dress up in bandhgalas. Air India’s cockpit crew will fly in classic black suits. Passengers for Air India will gradually notice the change in the crew’s uniform as the change will take few months to come into effect but most likely, it is expected to be seen the first time when the new Airbus A350 of Air India comes into service.

 

 

Air India unveiled the uniforms for cabin crew and pilots designed by Manish Malhotra on December 12. The airline’s female cabin crew will wear ombre sarees with a modern touch, while the men will wear bandhgalas. For the cockpit crew, the celebrated couturier has designed classic black suits.

The new uniforms will be introduced in a phased manner over the next few months, debuting with the entry of service of Air India’s first Airbus A350.
