Adar Poonawalla buys a mansion in London’s Mayfair that has an area of 25,000 square foot. Located near Hyde Park, Mayfair is one of the most upscale neighbourhoods in London. Adar Poonawalla will pay £138 million (British Pounds) or Rs. 1,445 Crores (Indian Rupees) for his London mansion. The property originally belongs to Dominika Kulczyk, who is late Polish businessman Jan Kulczyk’s daughter. She will be selling the mansion to Adar Poonawalla, once the paperwork is complete. Jan Kulczyk was the richest man in Poland.
On papers, the property will be purchased by Serum Life Sciences, which is a UK subsidiary of Serum Institute of India, as reported. Adar Poonawalla London Mansion deal will be the second most expensive home to be ever sold in London, along with the biggest real estate deal of 2023.
As reported, Adar Poonawalla London Mansion is just going to be another home away from home for the Poonawalla family. As Adar and his wife Natasha Poonawalla frequently visit London, this mansion will be used for their stay in London. As reported by Bloomberg, Adar Poonawalla used to pay £50,000 (British Pounds) Per Week as rent for the Grade-2 listed property. The rent, if calculated in Indian Rupees, comes out to Rs. 52,42,000 (Rupees Fifty Two Lacs and Forty Two Thousand) Per Week, which comes out to be more than Rs. 2 Crores per month.
