Sad news coming in – CID actor Dinesh Phadnis dead at the age of 57 due to multiple organ failure. He breathed his last at 12.008 am at one of the Mumbai’s hospital. He was famously known as “Freddy” in the TV show CID, that been airing on Sony for more than 20 years. Dinesh Phadnis’s liver got damaged that resulted in multiple health issues and was the primary reason for his death. He had been on ventilator for the last few days, but when doctors lost all hopes, the ventilator was turned off and within few hours, Dinesh died.
Few days ago, there was a fake news spreading around Dinesh’s health that he’s suffered a heart attack but later, it was clarified that his illness is due to liver failure and not a heart attack. Also, as reported, Dinesh was undergoing treatment for something else and the strong medication he was taking ended up damaging his liver. His cremation will take place in Daulat Nagar Crematorium, Borivali East.
CID was his primary source of income. CID, started to air in 1998 and became one of the longest running television shows ever in Indian history apart from Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Dinesh died at a very early age, as 57 is clearly no age to die but sadly, life and death come hand in hand.
